Why do I keep getting an error while trying to install photoshop cs3?

Is it because I have a trial of cs2?
Should I remove it from my computer in order to be able to install the actual cs3 software?

It might be, but it’s doubtful. I am assuming you have a legal copy that was purchased. What kind of error are you getting? If it’s just that it won’t install, it could be your computer setup. Check that your computer meets the minimum requirements for running CS3; it’s possible you don’t have enough RAM.
But if you let us know the error, we can probably give you better help.
