When i try to l open a document in Photoshop i comes up with a Disk Full Error.?

What dose this mean and how do i fix it, my drive is not full and illustrator still works fine.
these where all wrong ansers i instaled PS CS2 and it works fine wile PS CS1 still dosnt work, if i wanted the “your hard drive is full speech i would just read one of the older questions, thanks for nothing.

    You don’t have enough RAM in your system. Exit some useless programs and try it again. If all else fails, you might need to upgrade your RAM.

    Yes,i have the same problem before. at that time i only have 500M free space in Disc C. You know, running such as photoshop or other big software,it will take some space of of disc, if you dont have enough space,it will report error. So what suggestion i can give is add a bigger ram or disc for you pc.
