Question from James Smith: Error on photoshop!?
Hi!
When I’m trying to open some of my PSD files, I get this error:
“Could not complete your request because the layer is not a valid text layer.”
What should I do?

if you have the photoshop cd, you could try reinstalling it.

this happens sometimes. I’m not sure why. You need to open the file using some other program that reads .psd files (I have a mac, so I use “Graphics Converter”). Then, save as .psd file, then open with photoshop again.
