In photoshop cs4 when i try to type something I CAN’T . And it says program error when i click on the text tool . I cannot type anything at all . Any suggestions ??? Please help!!!

I’d first try clearing your PS preferences file:
- Hold Ctrl-Alt-Shift (NOT delete!) when starting PS. It will prompt you to verify the clear.
If that doesn’t work, I’d ask around the Adobe forums—it may be a common enough problem that others have solved.
Worst case, try repair install or complete reinstallation of PS.
