Error with Adobe Photoshop, help!?

I have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Upgrade version (I own the full version of 5.0), now & then I get this incredibly irritating error message that says something like:
“The application failed to run properly. This is an internal error that cannot be fixed.”
Something along those lines, then it says “click ok” & after that the program shuts off. I tried installing, re-installing, restarting my pc & nothing works! I’m very frustrated…for such a pricey program, it should not be acting like this. Please help, thanks.
Or if someone could give me the email address or direct link to where I can contact them for help support?
