Blue Screen of Death error in Windows XP Professional. What is the probable cause for the restart?

A. Windows XP-based computers have a default setting that enables the computer to restart as soon as they encounter an error.
B. The operating system is experiencing an application or driver problem.
C. The computer is experiencing a BIOS problem.
D. The computer is experiencing a hardware device problem.

A B and D are all correct but we need the BEST Answer I’ll go for A
How about you guys?

    oh a restart, well that would be inthe bois and most computers have that disabled so A I guess

    More likely B. The drivers for Windows often cause it to crash.

    I reckon D – Though C is closely linked to D. When the device doe’snt respond as it should and it causes a kernel crash because it corrupted the system protected memory space leaving the system instable and impossible to operate normally. Wakka woo, sounds impressive :)
