That’s what happens when you use Vista, still too many bugs in the system, go with xp

try chucking in the vista disc upon boot up go into the setup on the disc select new install and then select repair current installation once it says do you want to repair you current os or install a new one. This is how xp does it anyway. Hopefully this will fix your problem but do a backup first.

And yes Vista is still really buggy hopefully you’ll be able to fix it or re-install xp again or change to linux.

    ok

    run superantispyware from the net
if it still occurrs then it means a unknown program is trying to startup in your start menu

use the windows help screen to fing out how to disable the start menu.

disable half of the start up menu and boot
keep grouping the enable disable until it doesnt happen

eventually when you find out what single program it is, google it and find out the name of the program

go into add/remove and remove it.

If you have just installed it you might need to re-install it.
Or, write down the error code ( as you did above) and look it up on the internet. Every error messge has a code that will specifies what the problem is.
My best advice though is to call Dell, Apple, or whoever sold you the computer. I was getting similar messages and didnt do anyhting, and eventually it resulted in me getting the Blue Screen of Death.
So I would call or look it up.
    Good Luck tho!

I know this advice comes across as sarcasm or a joke but seriously think about it: you can install Windows XP.

It only took me a few days of working with Vista to decide that it is simply too new. When it comes to the Windows operating system I think, unless you are a developer, that until you start running into the problem of NEEDING the newer version of Windows in order to run/install/use something that it isn’t worth even considering upgrading.

Windows XP is tried, true, and in my opinion the best operating system Microsoft has ever released. Win 95 and 98 definitely frustrated me on an hour-by-hour basis but I am in no hurry to leave XP.

I can understand if you are just using it in order to learn what ‘might’ be the future but to use it as your ‘main’ operating system seems a bit preposterous to me at this point.
