What does this Windows Vista error code mean?

When i try to boot into startup repair, i always get the error code 0xc000000f. If you know what that means, please help! Also, i am trying to create a set of recovery disks for my computer, so using the Vista CD to access startup repair wont work.

Try installing the Vista disc from desktop, not from BIOS. Worked for me.

    Get a Mac!

I think you would have even more problems trying to create Vista restore disks on a Mac LOL!!! But seriously, What do you mean “using the Vista CD to access startup repair wont work” I think you’re going to have to boot from the DVD, do a repair, and then make your recovery disk. Search for your error here http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1 it could be several things.

If you mean you don’t have a Vista disk good luck with that.
