What does this error message on my laptop mean?

Every time I turn on my computer a message comes up that says this:

C:/Windows/system32/sshnas.dll

This specified module could not be found.

THe computer is running fine and everything but I just wonder if I should try to fix this problem because it happens every time I turn on my laptop. Any ideas?

Thanks!

It means that you were at one time infected with the Trojandropper virus. Your system is trying to load the .dll file for that trojan but can’t find it.

I would download and run Malwarebytes along with updating your anti-virus program and running a full scan.

    1. Download Uniblues Microsoft Gold Certified System Scan Tool

    http://www.dll4free.com/dll-not-found.html

This is a free download – The download will open up in a new window. Click “Save File” and follow simple installation instructions.

    2. It will start scanning your computer for DLL and registry errors.

    3. After scanning your PC for all errors, it will give you a list of errors and all you need to do is click the fix button.
