Question from Dave: MS office 2007 superscript and subscript problem.?
This makes no sense at all. I’m in powerpoint 2007; the keyboard commands for superscript and subscript work (CTRL+SHIFT+= and CTRL+SHIFT+-) but pressing the command a second time doesn’t return it to normal script I’m forever after committed to one or the other super/sub. There is nothing in the help section either. Aack! I really hate office 2007

I want to open up a new Microsoft Office 2007 Word document with my name and date on the top since i always have school work to type. So it gets annoying to type my school name, then my class then my name then the date. Is there anyway that i can have that already there when i open a new document without actually saving a copy of it? Thanks for da help!

Sounds like you want to create a Template.
Just create a document with what you want and then save it as a Template.

Make sure you press “Save as” before you close. You will see one box for the name of the file as well as a drop down box. Click the drop down box and choose 2003 format.

I have a laptop with Vista installed on it. It only came with MS works. I have Office 2000, so I installed it on Vista. For the longest time, I had NO problems whatsoever. Now, when I try to open ANY application on Office 2k, I get an installation wizard window, and then windows asks me for the cd and product key,. When I click cancel, it closes the application. The interesting thing is, is that when you get the normal application popup (with the logo for the application), it says Worrd 2003 (or excel ‘03, or ppt 03, depending on the application). I have NEVER had a version of this, so why is it popping up? If I open up an actual word document, instead of just word, i can get the document to open but it still tries to open installation wizard. This doesn’t work when I try to do it with powerpoint or excel. What is going on here? I cant upgrade to Office 2007, because it is incompatable with my college’s computers! Help!

I’d say it is called eCommerce. What you need is something more complicated and I seriously doubt you will be able to do it in MS Publisher. This kind of website requires some more advanced features. You will need first a (well designed) database, to keep some information about customers and their informations/pictures and the clients and their interests in the offers. Then you will need some kind of authentication to prevent others from messing up your clients’ offers and to allow someone to change only their offer. Then you might need some kind of “moderation” module that would allow you to deny or approve the pictures and texts posted on your website (ie: to prevent inappropriate pictures and texts for being posted). Depending on your ideas regarding the website you might need even more things than those enumerated above. So my advice: get professional help. They should be able to build what you need.

When you make a new file, make sure the color mode is set to RGB and not something like ‘greyscale’. Also, try going to Image > Mode and make sure RGB color is checked.
