LCD Monitor Error, not displaying using LCD/DIV D, does with CRT/VGA?

Hey

I recently was using my computer normally, and i shut it down correctly, 2 days later i had re booted the computer but nothing appeared on the monitor, i have since opened it up
gotten rid of all the dust
and tested it on a different monitor and it works fine there
but not my monitor at home which uses a DIV D connection, my CRT monitor connects using a VGA which works fine
just i would prefer to use the LCD, as it takes up less room and is easier to look at

Cannot get my monitor to stop displaying the error “signal out of range” when I try to play a game! Need Help!?

I have a Soyo Topaz S 24″ monitor and just installed a Radeon 9250 graphics card. I have winxp. I went to display settings and have tried to adjust the resolution but nothing seems to work.
I updated the driver which installed the ATI Catalyst software. I did try changing the resolution all the way down to 800×600 and it still wont work!
How do I go about getting windows to recognize my monitor?
