It happens some time while i am playing the videogame ussually after few seconds of playing.First my monitor shuts down while the sound of the game continues for 20-30 seconds,and then computer restarts.After that my screen resolution and color quality are changed to a minimum and icons become very large and the following error message appears:the system has recovered after a serious error,it seems that the driver for the display device is responsiblle for the system instability.Tis only happens when i’m playing the videogame.My display driver is allways up to date so i dont know what is the problem.Can someone tell me what to do please?

I’m just starting to learn Windows Vista (I have a Dell Inspiron e1405 with Windows Vista Ultimate edition). When I first hooked my 17″ LCD monitor up as an extended desktop – Vista set it to 1280×1024 – which was perfect. However after shutting the system down and turning it back on, I have never been able to get the extended desktop on the 17″ LCD to display at anything other then 1024×768. I was trying to take a screenshot of a big picture and decided to try and change the screen resolution, but I forgot that it cant go higher than 1024×768 on the flat monitor and now it says Input Signal Out Of Range.

How do I fix it? I do not have the original video card driver and the one in it is integreated, Im pretty sure. Its not really an error, its just stuck on the wrong resolution and wont display. Other than that, it actually stil works. I can hear error and startup sounds if I fiddle with, but I cant see to go change the resolution back. HELP! I NEED it fixed today!
