Downloading itunes on Windows XP with AOL?

I just downloaded the most recent version of itunes to my computer. It wouldn’t allow me to open it when it was done(I kept getting an error message). I read in another answer that there was a bug in quicktime and all that you needed to do was to uninstall quicktime and reinstall it so I uninstalled it BUT now I can’t download it again because AOL security blocks it in the middle of its download saying that the certificate isn’t valid(Even though I’m downloading it right off the apple site). How do I get it to download? I already tried importing the certificate.

Clear out the history or download it without using AOL’s browser.

Try disabling the AOL security features temporarily.

Oddly enough, you can find how to do so here:

    Good luck!
